23-03-2010Mar 22, 2010 #1 So I got my Paragon KM24-D kiln back from the service shop in Portland and they replaced a relay and the door kill switch. It's running real nicely, but takes forever to heat up. It's averaging 55 minutes to get to 1450 from room temp (~55F). It took a couple minutes shy of 2-1/2 hours to get to 2000F (just to check).

08-09-2019A kiln repair person came out and said that the elements are in good order and that it may be an issue of amperage from the panel. We are running the kiln off my garage sub-panel. The kiln is rated at 30 amps and the double breaker feeding the kiln from the sub-panel is also 30 amps.
